Jason Giambi on TLC signing a bat for "JUICE"

Posted on: January 29, 2008 12:01 pm

A couple was out at Yankee stadium and had Jason Giambi sign a shirt for their future newborn.  When asked what the baby's name was going to be the couple replied Gius and pronounced it as "JUICE".  Giambi didn't hesitate... he told the couple he had something for them and went into the dugout and gave them one of his bats that he signed for "JUICE".  As one of the athletes admitting to "juicing", I found it ironic and funny that Giambi didn't react at all to the term juice and gave the couple a bat.  I also find it very funny that a true bred Yankee fan could name their kid "juice"  and have as one of their favorite players one of the biggest steroid abusers in the game.  I kid you not!!
